Older students of our school were visited by a leader of a non profit organisation called Maendeleo (http://www.maendeleo.cz/index.php) which aims on support for African farmers growing rice. He delivered a presentation focused on everyday life of people living in Tanzania. After this presentation, students has decided that they would like to help this project and the farmers too so they come up with an idea of fundraising some money for them. As the reward for the charity teachers are even prepared to have a week without homework! |
