Monday January 6th started with Mrs Katerina wishing everybody Merry Christmas. “Isn’t it too late?” wondered the children. Mrs Katerina also brought a traditional Christmas bread from Macedonia with the coin hidden to share during the snack break. Those lucky who got the pieces with coins will be happy and healthy all the year round. “Why do we also celebrate Christmas today?” asked the teachers. “Because we are International,” was the best answer. On Thursday Ms Sophie, Nicole, and Ilyes shared with traditional French cake eaten for Three Kings Day. Mrs Katerina and Viky were the queens of that day! Unfortunately, nothing yummy is expected this week. |
