GENERAL INFORMATION

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher with a passion for education, excellent command of English (C1 minimum), experience of teaching children between ages 5 and 11 and a positive attitude, integrity and flexibility.

We have an open position for a primary class teacher, who will be fully responsible for the academic as well as personal development of every child in the allocated class. Following the world class Cambridge Primary Program and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), you will plan and prepare engaging English and Maths lessons and guide your class through IPC projects. Other responsibilities besides planning and teaching include assessing learning, providing individual support and working in partnership with colleagues and parents to co-create a positive learning environment in which children can flourish.

International mindedness is key to our team. Relevant teaching qualifications are required.

- teaching qualification
- some experience teaching at a primary/lower secondary school
- english at a near-native level as a minimum (C1+) - certificate not necessary

SALARY PACKAGE & OTHER BENEFITS

Salary: 36 000 CZK to 42 000 CZK gross per month depending on experience
Additional benefits: 8 weeks of fully paid holidays, child tuition assistance (up to 60% of the standard tuition), financial contribution to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Relocation allowance: Up to 10 000 CZK covering bills and other expenses directly connected with the moving to Olomouc. Relocation assistance (help with finding a suitable accommodation, registration at foreigners police, setting up a bank account, etc.),

Travel allowance: one return flight from Czech Rep. to European home country per year (if you live outside of Europe, we can provide some contribution towards your flights as well)

Accommodation allowance: additional 3 000 CZK per month net paid towards accommodation for the first two years

• Poskytování odborné podpory žákům se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami a těm, kteří vyžadují speciálně pedagogickou péči

• Konzultace a spolupráce s vedením školy, učiteli, žáky a rodiči

• Spoluvytváření programu pedagogicko-psychologických poradenských služeb, včetně primární prevence

• Diagnostická, intervenční a konzultační činnost (dle kvalifikace)

• Metodická a koordinační činnost v oblasti inkluze a speciální pedagogiky

• Vzdělání dle § 18 zákona 563/2004 Sb. (magisterský titul v oblasti speciální pedagogiky)

We are seeking a supply teacher to cover occasional shifts in our preschool with children aged 2-5. 

Requirements: enthusiastic about working with children, fluent English, relevant teaching qualifications desirable but not essential.
